After a distinguished 16-month residency with our equity group, he was appointed Investment Analyst to help drive our research-intensive strategy.

A Proven Path to Research
Kobe’s journey at JCIC began with a high-impact 16-month internship within our equity research team. During this time, his productivity and disciplined approach to market analysis became integral to our process. His ability to translate complex data into actionable insights led to his full-time appointment as Investment Analyst in 2025.
At JCIC, Kobe works closely with our senior portfolio managers, providing the fundamental research and quantitative analysis that underpin our ‘time-tested’ investment results.
Academic Excellence
Kobe graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, one of Canada’s leading business schools. While at McMaster, he was a selected participant in the DeGroote Finance and Investment Council (DFIC) mentorship program—an elite circle of emerging finance professionals dedicated to advanced portfolio management and market theory.
Personal Interests
Outside of the research lab, Kobe is a keen golfer and an avid hiker. He values the perspective gained through travel, bringing the same sense of curiosity and exploration to both his personal life and his professional analysis.
